In addition to planning and implementing complete new systems, we also offer individual components for optimizing and expanding existing hot-dip galvanizing systems. Our products cover all areas of in-house traverse transport.
Whether for a modernization or an increase in efficiency: with our many years of experience and innovative solutions, we ensure a safe and smooth material flow in your system.

Modern hot-dip galvanizing plants are increasingly relying on lifting and lowering stations instead of conventional set-up stands. Their decisive advantage lies in the variable height adjustment, which enables ergonomic and safe working. The motor-controlled lifting and lowering movement reduces back strain and significantly simplifies the set-up and dismantling process. Depending on requirements, the station can also be equipped with longitudinal travel or an integrated chain conveyor.

Our chain conveyors enable the safe transportation of traverses in a transverse or longitudinal direction - usually for three or more traverses at the same time. They ensure precise positioning and can be flexibly adjusted in terms of quantity and direction as required. Special solutions - e.g. mounted on transport trolleys or lifting/lowering stations - make them an indispensable link between individual parts of the system.

Our overhead cranes ensure the safe handling of material and traverses throughout the entire galvanizing process. They are used under extreme conditions, particularly in aggressive areas such as pre-treatment or directly at the galvanizing kettle.
Your advantages:

Distribution cranes control the material logistics within the system: they supply set-up stations and organize the traverse storage. Thanks to double hoists, they can transport full and empty beams at the same time - which significantly increases efficiency.
Your benefits:

Our transport units consist of two parallel moving, coupled trolleys and connect different areas of the hot-dip galvanizing line to form a continuous transport system.
Your advantages:

Moving bridges enable a rectangular material flow and provide more flexibility in confined spaces. They are primarily used when transport units need to be moved quickly in a transverse direction - ideal for compact system layouts.

With a flexible 90° change of direction, turntables enable the efficient movement of traverses in both transverse and longitudinal directions. They are particularly suitable for confined spaces and modular systems - a perfect addition to modern galvanizing concepts.

When conventional forklift trucks reach their limits, the Scheffer stacking crane comes into play. It combines the advantages of an overhead crane and forklift in one system - space-saving, automatable and safe. With a 360° slewing range, radio control and a clear view of the load, it is ideal for tightly staggered storage areas and high-bay warehouses.
The stacking crane is particularly impressive in the steel trade and in hot-dip galvanizing plants for fast loading and unloading of trucks as well as for handling set-up stands and lifting/lowering stations.
